PE
Welcome to Heights Physical Education!
Welcome to The Heights Elementary School Physical Education page! We are so excited for a fun, safe, and adventurous school year down in the gymnasium. Students will be participating in many fun activities, games, and sports- so it is important for students to come prepared on their PE days! Students will meet for PE class two times a week for a total of eighty minutes. We encourage students to come prepared to play in sneakers that cover their heels and toes and to wear comfortable clothing that they can safely move around in! Water bottles are recommended. We are looking forward to an amazing school year!

Meet the PE teachers

Hello! My name is Kristin McCabe and I have been teaching PE at Heights since 2020. I received my Bachelors Degree in Physical Education in 2013 and my Masters in Curriculum and Teaching in 2018. My goal is to engage and encourage my students to achieve their personal best in a safe and fun environment. In my free time I love spending time with my family, taking my Australian Shepherd on hikes, reading, spending time on the Cape, and participating in road races. I love being able to teach all grades, K-5 and watching my students grow over the years!
MEET THE PE TEACHERS

Hi, my name is Laurie Eckford. This is my second year teaching in Sharon and I currently teach Physical Education at Heights Elementary Monday-Thursday and at Cottage Street Elementary on Fridays. Before coming to Sharon I taught elementary PE in Framingham for the past 7 years. I graduated from Southern Connecticut State University, where I also played field hockey, and received my masters degree in Curriculum and Teaching from Fitchburg State. I love to be active so I enjoy encouraging our students to do the same! I love to run, walk my dogs, hike, golf, and be outside.
